3 Video Tips For Recording Video For Your Vings

Video is one of the best ways to engage your employees. Everywhere you go there are videos. On billboards, social media, in text messages... everywhere!

We have 3 video tips for recording videos for your vings that you do not want to miss out on.

1. Have A Quiet Space

There are some times when a video with some background noise is nice. If you are walking through a workplace it would just make sense that you would hear background noise. However, if you are trying to record a quick video to encourage a safety culture to your employees you should find a quiet space — one that is not distracting.

2. Use Your Normal Device

There is no need to buy a new camera that you don't know how to use. Nowadays your normal smartphone or desktop or laptop is perfectly fine. Another reason we advise you to use your normal device is that you know how to use it! Every day you are taking pictures of your grandkids, furbabies, or random projects you have completed. You know your own device to make your life a little less stressful and do what you know.

3. Create Short Casual Videos

Your videos do not need to be top of the line. Some of the best videos are raw unedited videos. Now that being said often we do have to clip the front and end of a video — we still have not mastered casually turning off the camera without those 5 seconds of looking for the button. Before you record your video make a cliff notes version of a script. Keep it simple and uncomplicated. If you have keywords that you do not want to miss — write them down. Otherwise, just talk to the camera like it was any other person in your office.
