Email is not going anywhere. You need to understand how to maximize your sales emails. Today we are here to debunk these common email myths and get you on track — improving your communication 1 day at a time.
Myth 1: People are reading your emails.
Often we get in a groove of sending and sharing information and think that everyone is reading your emails when that just may not be true.
Myth 2: Sending emails in the morning is always best.
There is no 1 time slot that is perfect for sending anything. When getting ready to share information with your prospects make sure that you think about their busy times. Evaluating your audience will help you determine the best test times. Try to test out a few different times and don’t be afraid of connecting with prospects on the weekend.
Myth 3: Always use email.
Though it is true that email is not dead — it is probably not the best tool for everything. Some forms of communication belong in an email (quick responses, a quick question, etc) others belong in Ving (prospect information, demo videos, surveys, etc). Think about what you are sharing before you decide where you should share it.
Myth 4: Including Video guarantees opens.
As much as we wish this to be true it just isn’t. Video is great and can engage your contacts but the video still needs to be of high quality and filled with information that your contacts want to know.
Myth 5: Ving replaces email.
Ving is not here to replace your email. Ving is here to help you improve/enhance and drive your overall communication and give new meaning to the way that you communicate with every tool, including email.
Now that we have brought to light these 5 myths about effective email communication it is time that you log in and get to creating Vings! And don’t forget we have sales templates you can use too. Click here to check out our sales templates.
